Microsoft Office Alternative

If you're a Windows PC user, you're probably familiar with Microsoft's Office applications. Of these applications Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are unquestionably the most widely used. Kingsoft Software has produced what looks to be a solid alternative for those who need the functionality of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, but not at the premium Microsoft price. In fact, Kingsoft's Office Suite Free 2013 is just that, free. The software strongly resembles the already familiar Microsoft Office application interface, meaning you'll feel at home the first time you open the software. As this software is free, it expectedly lacks some premium features, such as the only being able to save in older Office file formats (.doc, .xls, .ppt). This may be a deal-breaker for some, but bear in mind that Kingsoft also offers the more premium Office Professional 2013 Suite. Kingsoft offers some free apps for iOS and Android operating systems as well, meaning you can put them to use on a tablet and/or smartphone. If you're in need of a good, but free office client, give Kingsoft's Office Suite Free 2013 a try today:
