5th Annual Dalton State Book Festival

The guest author for the 5th Annual Dalton State Book Festival will be Kimberly Brock and she will be reading from and discussing her debut novel, The River Witch.  Ms. Brock received the 2013 Georgia Author of the Year Award for her book and she is native of the Dalton area.  Several copies of The River Witch are available for students to check-out and read.  These are provided at the Circulation Desk on a first come, first serve basis.  You must request the books in person. 

The DSC Literary Reading Society is reading The River Witch for their next selection and will meet on Wednesday, February 26 at 3:00pm with Ms. Brock to discuss her book.  If you would like to join them, contact Kris Barton at kmbarton@daltonstate.edu  

Kimberly Brock will speak on campus Wednesday, February 26 at 6:30pm in the Brown Center.  The program will be followed by an autograph session and her book will be available for sale. Please email Lydia Knight at lknight@daltonstate.edu if you have any questions about the book festival.
