Starting this fall, the Dalton State College Writing Lab and the Derrell C. Roberts Library are partnering to offer 30-60 minute workshops for students.
There will be three workshops offered in September, and the workshops will be held in the Robert's Library Wireless Classroom (Room 113).

Classes are as follows:
- Writing Basics - Wednesday, Sept. 16th - 1:45-2:30 pm
Learn how to select a topic, develop a thesis statement,
and create an outline.
- Ready, Set, Research - Wednesday, Sept. 23rd - 1:45-2:30 pm
Learn how to evaluate sources for your topic, locate scholarly
(peer-reviewed) sources, and collect citation information.
- Citing Your Sources - Wednesday, Sept. 30th - 1:45-2:30 pm
Learn what should be cited in your paper to avoid plagiarism
and how to decode citation information. Use your own
research to create a short annotated bibliography.
