"Beep! Beep! The DJC Roadrunners, 1968-1978"

 

Join us on Friday, March 16, 2012 for a Dalton State Foundation Lunch and Learn: Melvyn Ottinger presents "Beep! Beep! The DJC Roadrunners, 1968-1978".   The luncheon will be held from 12-1 pm in the James E. Brown Center, Room 105 on the Dalton State College campus.

Reception for Congressional District Art Competition

Date: Wednesday, March 14, 2012
Location: Derrell C. Roberts Library, 650 College Drive, Dalton, GA
Time: 7:00-8:00 p.m.
Sponsors:  Congressman Tom Graves, Dalton State College, Creative Art Guild

Each year, members of the U.S. House of Representatives sponsor a nationwide high school arts competition. Join the Honorable Congressman Tom Graves as he announces the top three winners for the 9th Congressional District at a reception in the Derrell C.Roberts Library.

After the reception, the winning entries will be displayed in the Congressman's office until June 1, 2012.   The first place winning entry will then be displayed for one year in United States Capitol.  The first-place artist and one family member will be flown to Washington, D.C. to attend the Congressional unveiling reception, courtesy of Southwest Airlines.
