Book Talk: Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe

Join us on Thursday, June 25 at 11:30am-12:30pm as Dr. Jane Taylor leads a discussion about this book written by Southern author, Fannie Flagg.  In the novel, Evelyn visits a nursing home and meets Mrs. Threadgood who shares a tale of two friends--the tomboy Idgie and her friend Ruth--who back in the thirties ran a restaurant in Whistle Stop, Alabama.
