Campus Trails

The campus of Dalton State is surrounded by mountainous woodland, and a network of three hiking trails.   Over a period of nearly five years, Dr. John Lugthart and hundreds of students, faculty, staff and community volunteers worked to clear the sometimes challenging terrain. 

This month's library exhibit features photographs of the beautiful scenery along the trails and interesting trivia about the project.

The trail network consists of three trails. Big Rock Trail is the southernmost trail, running about half a mile. College Creek Trail, north of Big Rock, is one mile long. Art in the Library

Take a few moments to view the creative and inspiring works of art on display in the Art in the Library exhibit.  This exhibit showcases the incredibly talented students and faculty members of Dalton State College.  

Among the featured artists are: Thanh Mac, Rachel Sims, Tiffany Crowder, and Rhett Peeples.
