Fine Arts Series
Frances Moore Lappé is author of Diet for a Small Planet, which has sold over 3 million copies and has been considered “the blueprint for eating with a small carbon footprint” since long before the term was coined. She and her daughter, Anna Lappé,are co-founders of the Small Planet Institute and the Small Planet Fund,
an organization which channels resources to democratic social movments worldwide.

Bandy Heritage Center Lecture Event Postponed
Due to weather conditions, Anita Zaleski Weinraub, Chairwoman of The Georgia Quilt Project, will present her lecture on Georgia Quilts: Piecing Together a History at a later date to be announced. She will appear courtesy of the Bandy Heritage Center for Northwest Georgia as the second speaker in the Dicksie Bradley Bandy Memorial Lecture Series.

The Roberts Library welcomes David Brown, our newest Reference/Instructional Librarian.
David earned his MSIS degree from the University of Tennessee, and was previously the Reference Coordinator at Georgia Northwestern Technical College.
